On Saturday, November 21th, members of the Alex Semel Council of the Knights of Columbus fanned out through the Lacombe area to deliver food to 80 needy families. Each family received a turkey, one dozen eggs, a pound of butter, a pie, a half gallon of milk, produce and two additional boxes containing non-perishable food, over 90 items in all, made possible through donations from the Parishioners of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church.
Special thanks to all of the Knights and their families who helped assemble the baskets and delivered them. Their hard work and giving of their time was a true blessing of Christian Charity.
