I want to thank my Brother Knights of the Alex Semel Council #12989 of the Knights of Columbus for their hard work and dedication to this year’s Fish Fry. Although the final numbers are not in, we sold approximately 2000 dinners and raised an incredible amount of money for our local charities. Also, for the first time. our Council received an award from Mandeville 1st Baptist Church. They travel around the Northshore taking in the various fish fry’s offered and we were voted “Best Lenten Fish Fry on the Northshore”. I am deeply honored, and you all make the Grand Knight look good.
