On Saturday, November 19th, members of the Alex Semel Council of the Knights of Columbus fanned out through the Lacombe area to deliver food to 81 needy families. Each family received a turkey, one dozen eggs, a pound of butter, a pie, a half gallon of milk, produce and two additional boxes containing non-perishable food. All made possible through donations from the Parishioners of St. John in conjunction with the friends of St. Anthony.
Special thanks to all of the Knights and their families who helped assemble the baskets and delivered them. Their hard work and giving of their time were true blessings of Christian Charity.
