The Friends of St. Anthony would like to express their gratitude to all the parishioners who helped make this Thanksgiving food basket give-away a huge success. The Knights of Columbus gathered all the food, separated it and then packaged it for delivery and made the delivery on (Saturday, Nov. 22nd). 87 Families received food! To put the amount of food in perspective, each family gets 3 large apple boxes of food. Two boxes contain non-perishable items and the 3rd box contains fruits, vegetables and perishable items. The perishable items consisted of: one 12 pound turkey, one gallon of milk, one pound of butter, a dozen eggs and a frozen apple pie. May GOD bless all of you for your generosity. I know 87 families are grateful!
