On June 21, the Knights Hosted the 4th Degree at St. John. Several dedicated Knights attended and served drinks with a cash bar. The event raised $400.00 which was donated to Ms. Kristianne Stewart of Compassion that Compels. Additionally, at their June meeting the Knights contributed another $500 to help her cause. Several weeks ago, Mrs Kristianne explained her mission to the Knights. Her ministry is helping women with cancer by supplying a bag with various items to help comfort them and feed their souls. In a world turned upside down from cancer, the scripture attached to each useful item reminds a cancer overcomer that she is first an overcomer in Christ. Mrs. Stewart is an amazing woman who is definitely an angel. Her organization doesn’t have a lot of support but every penny goes to help these women.
