The cooking team arrived early at the hall on November 15th. to prep for the big cook off. Temperatures were in the low 30’s as they loaded up equipment to compete in the 2014 KC Gumbo competition. The guys were delighted to take second place and look forward to feasting on gumbo at their November meeting. Grand Knight Merlin Schwab said “we need a quick meal , so the members can focus preparing Thanksgiving food baskets.
