The 2016 Walk for the Poor was held on Saturday, 9/24/2016 from 8:30 to 11 a.m., at the Mandeville Lakefront. The Knights transported all of their equipment in their new trailer sporting the KC logo. The walk started at the Pavilion located on Jackson Street across from the Yacht Club. The Walk was one mile round-trip, followed by food, music, and festivities. Once again St. John of the Cross had one of the biggest turn out, 88 walkers. Your efforts raised $3,500.00 to be used by the Friends of St. Anthony to help those in need in our Parish.
